For those of you who may be visiting for the first time, here’s a breakdown of the project timeline, and a listing of all Hardware and Software used.
What’s automated so far:

Timeline:
- 8/18/08: I start it off with a discussion of what I’m going to do.
- 8/19/08: I then talked about the hardware needed.
- 8/19/08: I’ve talked about the software to control everything.
- 8/21/08: I’ve purchased my first piece of hardware to control the A/V stack.
- 8/25/08: The GC-100 arrived and was installed.
- 8/26/08: I installed the MainLobby Server and drivers.
Hardware Purchased:
- Already had: Original Iphone with 8GB memory.
- 8/21/08: Global Cache GC-100 TCP/IP to IR/RS-232 adapter
- 8/26/08: An IOGear GUC232A RS-232 to USB adapter to control the HR-21
